The flexibility of the head is meant to contour to the shape of the body of the pet and to relieve stress on the groomer's hand and wrist. The handle has rubber grippy ares on both sides to help with the groomer's comfort in gripping the brush. This large brush has a pin area that is 2.5" wide by 2" long or lengthwise down the brush.
