's not the battery. How many more hundreds of dollars do I need to spend? Have tried everything to fix this but I am giving up and calling it the worse loss of money in my career. Mine started doing this after only several months! It's ridiculous and I feel robbed, to be honest. Months after trying to fix these every way possible I finally am writing this and will probably continue to be angry I purchased them for as long as I'm on this planet. I'm not even a full time groomer. I have a small private upscale salon with less than 20 clients. So I literally used these less than 10 times a month maybe between them and my other clippers. There's zero reason they shouldn't be working! They get lightly used, not overused. If anything they should last forever. I have cheaper clippers from my grooming academy days that still work but these, garbage. Buy anything but these, seriously. I'm so disappointed. I did some research before buying these clippers and I have had them for 2.5 years now. As long as my blades are sharp, clean, and oiled I never have any performance issues with these clippers. They are extremely sturdy, I have had them kicked out of my hand quite a few times and I have dropped them twice, the plastic housing and drive cover have each needed to be replaced once (which I found a good site to get them from), but the clippers themselves have stayed functioning and sound. In grooming school they had a variety of slippers, different brands, cordless vs cord etc. These clippers were my grad present and I love them. They’re on their third year now and still performing beautifully. As long as they are clean and well taken care of, you can get a good life out of them.
